If you want to discover a secret about how John Kerry and the Democratic Party is "building their e-mail list," with thousands of potential customers … then listen closely!

I know nothing about John Kerry, and I know much less about his running mate, John Edwards. But I do know this:

They have a heck of a
smart marketing team on your side!

Check this out: Before John Kerry revealed his running mate would be announced on their website, if you "signed" to be on your list of e-mail … he would tell his vice president running mate selection … several hours before making his announcement "official" to the public.

You know what John Kerry was doing, by giving this "incentive" to subscribe?

He was using an old style 2-generating sales opportunities for step formula to add prospects to your mailing list.

Just think about it: political parties, like any other business, can do nothing without supporters. And mostly, unless you are politically minded and politically committed, it will not be surfing around John Kerry's website in the first place, right?

You see, John Kerry does not want your email address I can only say that his running mate would be … want your email address so you can send a constant stream of marketing messages.

He will trickle down on you periodically.

Because the truth is that not become an asset to the Kerry campaign only by "visiting" your site – will become an asset to them if they can stay in constant contact with you by sending marketing messages … get all-fired to vote for him … and hopefully, get to …

Donate money!

What else are you thinking, he wants come to see the golf channel with him on Sunday afternoon?

Anyway, there is an important lesson in this, direct marketing smart, as you … to learn from John Kerry and his team.

And here it is: Remember … your potential customers are not visiting their websites … that is not reading your ads Display … and not to be in your registration email list, unless …

Interested in what you're selling!

It's true!

Whether you are selling party political beliefs … furniture … or headphones, people are not going to "Sign Up", unless want something from what you have.

So how can use this to
generate more leads in your business?

Well, let me give an actual example of a company that had an incredible history of using direct marketing to create loyal customers who are simply hungry for more products and … It's in a sector which is not believed to have as strong direct marketing, to boot.

Remember the rock band "The Grateful Dead"?

The website of the Grateful Dead, http://www.dead.net, is incredibly well directed and constant market.

Here's what they do: Each time a new CD will be released (which seems to be every 2 to 3 months), you get a message e-mail is notified in advance, and gives you the opportunity to "pre-order" this new CD.

But that's not all – usually, each pre-order comes with a bonus CD, which is commercially available – which means you can not get elsewhere. The only way you can get this extra "FREE Bonus CD "is a CD called its website.

As you can see, this offer does two things:

First, is a compelling offer. Get FREE Bonus CD (which is usually a live concert recording, or any study is carried out – and they are always good) gives you a ton of incentive to order directly from they.

And second, the Dead record company makes a Heck-of-a-lot more money selling to you directly rather than through one of its distributors or affiliates.

It could provide the Dead can be improved?

You bet. See, they're not really giving a good reason to "act now. "

In other words, you can wait until the CD comes out, or wait a few months from now, and would still get to take advantage of this offer to get the extra "FREE Bonus CD".

They should offer something extra, like maybe a free set of labels, or other free CD, if for sometime in the next 10 days "… or" if the goal for "18 April" … or "if you are in the first 1253 people to to "… or something.

But by-and-large, they do a better job of marketing that most companies. And they do it systematically.

And even if you are only semi-decent trader, to do something … and always do … is bound to put a nice little bundle of money in their pockets.

So if you are selling candles … or psychic readings … or business opportunity packages … You can use these exact same techniques to make more money for yourself in your business.

PS Next week I will reveal the site of generation selling formula, you can make a few dollars. It's exciting … and is very fun to use … but is often neglected.

It has to do with the Radio Shack … furniture stores … and Clarissa's goat!

PPS a joke about the goat.
