Entry last week focused on travel by cruise lines and large this is a good comfortable way to see Alaska. This week we will discuss adventure trips that are available. You can enjoy the expertise of residents of Alaska, while exploring truly Alaska. There are options available for families with children under 12, fishing expeditions up to a week, bear watching a days a week, the Iditarod, Scenic Explorations to 10 days. The activities you can expect to make on these adventure travel are:

Some of These visits are open to people with only a small loss "not to have double occupancy, so do not hesitate because you are not traveling with a group. You can also request the options you want on your adventure and create a custom adventure. Two of the Best:
Adventure Family with young children under 12
Who says you can not have an affair with young children? Here is the itinerary for a trip with younger children, adventurous, but reasonable for the youngest.
Day 1 – Arrive in Anchorage and transfer to hotel paid and explore on your own. Meals and activities that day are not included
Day 2 – You are paid to the hotel and travel along the Turnagain Arm (very picturesque) towards Seward. There will be stops in several wildlife viewing opportunities.
Tour Alaska Wildlife Center, which care of injured or orphaned Alaskan wildlife. You can see bears, moose, muskox and other wildlife that has been saved somehow.
Tour of the Alaska Sealife Center, which is oriented towards the study and restoration of marine life in Alaska.
A six-hour cruise dinner in scenic Kenai Fjords National Park you will view sea otters, sea lions, eagles and other marine animals. The coastline is bordered by a magnificent temperate rainforest.

Day 3 – Visit Portage Glacier and is Observatory have lunch at the Sourdough Mining Company in Anchorage Enjoy an easy hike to Thunderbird Falls in Chugach State Park. Day 5 – Visit Talkeetna, a border town with beautiful views of Denali. Travel to Denali and enjoy flightseeing over green valleys and through the Great Gorge. Fly deep into the park over the glaciers and peaks of great views over the park. The flight lasts an hour. Continue Denali tours and enjoying wildlife and panoramic views of the road before check-in at the lodge.
Day 6 – Spend the day to visit Denali Park. Enjoy wildlife and beautiful landscapes.
Day 7 – Depart Denali and head to Anchorage. On the way, you stop and visit the Sled Dog Is an Iditarod musher. Meet the dogs and puppies to afford a short ride in a carriage with wheels. The arrival in Anchorage can be guaranteed for starts earlier than 6:00 pm.
Iditarod Adventure
What adventurous traveler would not enjoy seeing the Iditarod in the hope that the aurora borealis? This tour is open only to travel in groups of 8 or more. While most visits are open to individuals it is not.
2/27/08 Day 1 – Arrive in Anchorage and explore at your leisure. A hotel room is included, but meals are not.
Day 2 2/28/08 – You will be supported by the docents of Alaska. Your first stop is the Alaska Wildlife Center which deals with injured wildlife or orphans. You might see bears, elk, bison (Bison), moose or other people here. Take a tram ride to the summit of Mount Alyeska for magnificent views, I personally did this and enjoyed it.
You can lunch at the ski resort of Girdwood. Back to anchor and enjoy the mushers banquet. This is your chance to enjoy the entertainment and Alaska, eventually, get autographs and photos.
Day 3 2/29/08 – Visit the kennel of Iditarod veteran musher. Lunch and ride behind a team of sled dogs. Dinner and accommodation in hotel Wasilla.
Day 4 3/01/08 – There are two departures in the Iditarod, the ceremonial start in Anchorage and the official start. Today, you will attend the festivities and ceremonial start in Anchorage. Enjoy a visit to Museum of History & Art Anchorage. There are also displayed works by famous artists from Alaska.
Day 5 3/02/08 – Official start of the Iditarod in Mat-Su Valley Enjoy a outdoor barbecue in Wasilla and the official race start. Take pictures and expensive than the mushers begin a tour of 1150 miles to Nome. Try snowshoeing and skiing. You'll have dinner and return to your hotel in Wasilla.
Day 6 3/03/08 – Enjoy the town of Talkeetna and Denali incredible landscapes. After lunch you take a flight over Denali. See the areas most picturesque and desolate park. You will return to Anchorage. The departure must be later only 8 am to guarantee arrival. If you wish to stay overnight in the hotel is not included in the price but arrangements can be made.
