One of the main parts to each of your trips by bicycle is the SAG. What a SAG request? SAG stands for Support and gear. For this bike ride, the SAG is composed of four different people who all had a huge responsibility for the success of the ride.

For one of them, the responsibility has begun a week before our race was done. He drove semi-truck from Colorado Springs to Portland pulling a trailer repair equipment for the bike ride. When he arrived in Portland, he drove all the way, we should be riding and painted a green arrow on the sidewalk for us to follow. It was great to have this visual that we drove all day. The green arrows helped to make a decision we took on what path to follow very easy to decide.

One of the guys with the team SAG held responsible help each rider before and after each ride their bikes to consider, make adjustments and do a cleanup was necessary to have a smooth ride. The large trailer has worked out of the hospital is a brand position for our bikes. He knew where every tool was and as he considered our bikes, can say exactly what he needed to get everything working properly. It has been a huge help for someone like me who is mechanically challenged when it comes to working with my hands and tools.

Two other people helped to get support every day. Their role was to take the SAG vehicles rallied and 12-15 miles apart from each other along the road. As might come on the SAG vehicles, we store and gather food and water to help us continue on the road.

One of their other responsibilities should be cheerleaders for us when we were tired, sore and calling into question the good sense to do first. They have always had a smile on their face and a word of encouragement we started out again.

I look back now and realize the importance of our team SAG was for us. They not only supply our snack on the road, repairing our bikes if necessary and mark the path we should take, they allowed us concentrate on the only thing that is important to finish the race.

Have you looked at your life and recently acknowledged that fills the void for you that your SAG team that you do your trip? I think one of the greatest things about the Bible are stories of God's people united in this purpose: to be support along their journey. Here are a few:

• Noah could not have built the ark to save his family without his son play a role vital role in construction.
• Moses his brother Aaron to speak to Pharaoh because Moses had lips unsteady.
• Saul could not have defeated the giant Goliath without the support and purpose of the perfect man young David and his sling.
• Jesus and the disciples were in support to another for years of ministry, Jesus here on earth.
• Paul Timothy as a companion to travel spreading the good news of Christ the world.

We are all in need of people to surround us and Support us in life. We need people who have been on the road ahead and marked a way for us to follow. This may be a friend or relative that we can have confidence when we ask the tough questions of life. They have been there and done before, we just need to learn and listen to them.

There are people who have the tools and experience in the treatment of problems that we need to look when we need a little adjustment. This may be a pastor, a counselor or coach who can challenge you, but can also provide the tools for a smooth ride in life.

You must make sure you have people in your life that provide food from time to time along your journey. They may be friends, family, co-workers who give good words of advice As you advance along the road of life.

Finally, we need your support people with smiles and encouragement. These individuals may come from a number different sources, but the key is that you see the importance of these people and surround yourself with positive influences. You do not have time to negativity. You need people not to encourage tranquilizers. I'm not saying they can not hold you responsible but they should push you in a positive direction. They may have to push you, but they will always push you forward.

As a man, it is sometimes difficult for me reach out and seek help. My ego is in many times how to find encouragement, resources and strength I need to do in life. As you keep going, do not forget the importance of SAG in your life.
