Rio de Janeiro has one of the most unique and beautiful topography in the world. Right beside the sea, you will find dark oblong shaped large rocks surrounded by lush green tropical forests. Oh, and do not forget the miles of sandy coast boast some of the most famous beaches in the world: Ipanema, Leblon and of course, Copacabana.

The most magical way to discover the beautiful city by helicopter. The best airline to fly to Rio Helisight is. There are nine different flights from R $ 150 (USD 60 million) to R $ 875 (USD 365 million) per person. The accept cash and cards credit (including American Express). There are also two heliports, Sugar Loaf and Lagoa. We do not recommend the use of the heliport Loaf Sugar unless you plan to do a day's visit Sugar Loaf Mountain and do not mind a little chaos. We recommend the use of the heliport Lagoa. There are no lines, no traffic and the area around you is quiet and absolutely beautiful! Yes, you can see Christ the Redeemer of the heliport in Lagoa.

Rob and I took a tour that took us to the heliport of Lagoa, Ipanema down at the corner of the infamous beach Copacabana at the grand finale being the twice around circling the most famous "new" wonder of the world, Christ the Redeemer. It was one of my favorite experiences in Rio. Here's a little video of our helicopter flight.

Here are some tips for journey by helicopter:

# 1: All flights are for a minimum of 3 persons. If you can not find someone to go with you, then you can wait 30 minutes for them to sell the remaining seats. If they can not sell the remaining seats, you can travel without having to pay for the seats yourself. If you want a private helicopter and did not want to wait for 30 minutes, then you must pay for the third seat.

# 2: Bring your camera photo and video camera. You are able to take as many pictures as you want.

# 3: Make sure it's a clear day. In Rio, there is often clouds are hanging too low. You want to get the most out of your helicopter ride and visibility is key, especially when the encircling Christ the Redeemer.

# 4: Which plan you choose, make sure it includes the Christ the Redeemer. You'll fly so close you think you can touch the statue!

If you plan to use the Sugar Loaf Heliport then know the following:

# 1: Arrive early and stand in line to take the cable car station at the first stone. This is where the heliport is located.

# 2: Tickets for the cable are NOT included in the price of helicopter. They are approximately R $ 20 per person.

# 3: There is often much traffic getting to and from Sugar Loaf. During high tourist season, plan a little extra time.

It's just a small foretaste of what is up and coming for the Jet Set Life: Rio de Janeiro video. Stay tuned!
